Most pieces from Sun Muse are crafted using 18K gold-plated brass, ensuring a beautiful and lasting shine. During the gold plating process, the brass base is dipped in liquid gold, creating elegant layers of gold that give each piece its lustrous finish. With regular care and proper storage, your gold-plated jewellery will stay radiant for years to come. However, exposure to boiling water, harsh detergents, oils, and perfumes may cause the coating to wear down over time, revealing a softer, paler gold that reflects the natural brass base.
